Installation

Get the Dukandar AI Shopping Assistant running on your WooCommerce store in a few minutes. You need WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 7.0+, PHP 8.0+, and an API key from an AI provider.

1. Install the plugin

From your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Dukandar AI Shopping Assistant, and click Install Now, then Activate. WooCommerce must already be active.

Prefer the command line? With WP-CLI:

wp plugin install fahad-ai-shopping-assistant-for-woocommerce --activate

2. Add your AI provider key

Open WooCommerce → Dukandar, choose your provider (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Moonshot and more), and paste your API key. You pay the model provider directly; the plugin never proxies your key.

The assistant only answers from real store data via tools, so it works the same whichever provider you pick. Start with whichever key you already have.

3. Confirm the widget

Visit your storefront. The chat launcher appears in the bottom corner. Open it and ask something like "what do you have for under $50?" to see grounded product cards rendered from your live catalogue.
